I absolutely LOVE the Milltown Coffee near my home in Bettendorf. I've gone there multiple times, often in order to wait for my car to be worked on at Lund's. I've only been to this location once, however, specifically for live music. That was also several years ago, so after getting breakfast this morning I thought I'd revisit for a time to relax with a tea and a cookie. Holy cow, this place is a lot bigger than the Bettendorf location. Like three or four times larger. It's also a bit different in terms of furnishings and architectural features. Though there is a drop ceiling with recessed lights in some locations, this Milltown also has suspended light fixtures with yellow incandescent light hanging within (or at least lights designed to look incandescent. The walls are a mix of rough brick and mortar, light burgundy painted drywall, and wood paneling. There's a fireplace prominently situated at one end of the dining area and a stage situated opposite the space. Most strangely, though the drop ceiling is present throughout the space, the HVAC ductwork is still visible throughout most of the ceiling space. Even stranger is the presence of drop ceiling suspended under the ductwork and the higher drop ceiling, with diffuser vents connected to the ductwork on the lower drop ceiling portions. I don't entirely get it - perhaps it has something to do with sound dampening? Speaking of, I really liked the overall noise level of this space at the time I visited. Though there were multiple different groups of varying sizes across the dining area, between their conversation and the soft indie music the noise level remained fairly low. This was great for just relaxing with my book and chilling for a while. I got pretty much the same order I have at the Bettendorf Milltown location - a green tea and a gluten free cookie. I wasn't specifically getting the cookie because it was GF - I've had it a few times now and just really like it. This cookie was similarly fantastic, almost like a dense chocolate chip cookie cake! The tea was similarly excellent. Milltown serves Adagio Teas, my preferred tea that I order online regularly. The cherry green tea I got today was so good I had to get a second. I'm going to have to consider ordering some for myself at home - seriously, it's that good! I remember this place being a great space for live music the one other time I stopped in. I come back for music, but I'd just as soon as come back for the great tea and the comfy chairs and relaxation as well. Milltown is a great space in many regards, and I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

This place is so cute. It’s modern, trendy, industrial almost? The drinks are good. Location is good. When I was in college I liked to come here to do low key homework. There are comfy chairs, and also regular chairs. Tables. Regular and coffee tables. There is sort of like snacky food. Like grilled cheese type vibes. Definitely a place to check out!

this coffee shop is definitely worth the trip from wherever you are to it. Yes, I know it's a few miles off of the East-West Interstate, but you won't be disappointed when you get here. The atmosphere is trendy and clean with high ceilings. The attention to detail when making the coffee is everything that you would expect and want from a proper coffee shop. There are plenty of seats, and great Windows overlooking the river. I would highly recommend this shop

My boyfriend and I love this place... the staff are always friendly. We go at least 1 time a week. The vibes are great. The gluten free cookie and banana foster latte is the way to go!

We stopped for a quick coffee on our way out of town. MillTown Coffee in Moline was a nice cap and goodbye to our visit to the Quad Cities. The holiday inspired latte was a bonus. The cafe itself, while busy, is quite relaxed and spacious where you don't feel on top of other patrons. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the Quad Cities area!

This place is one of my go-to coffee shops to go to just to chill and dig into some books that I've been overdue to read. The baristas are so friendly and give great recommendations! I love having spots to sit at like couches and chairs, instead of just being at a table like other coffee shops! Great place!

Great place for a group. We were able to reserve a couple of tall tables for our morning after wedding breakfast. Food was terrific!
